Fitness Trainer

Phil began practicing yoga with the goal of alleviating years of sports related injuries and improving flexibility. It did that, and so much more! Immediately hooked, he quickly realized that the benefits of yoga extend far beyond just physical! The calmness of both spirit and mind after each class was addicting. Phil is a lifelong athlete who is passionate about fitness and life balance. In addition to yoga, he is also an accomplished marathon runner, competitive bodybuilder, martial artist, and certified instructor in the Israeli hand-to-hand combat technique of Krav Maga. Yoga has helped Phil tremendously with injuries and relaxation. In addition, the increased flexibility, balance, and focus has been a great compliment to his martial arts practice. He feels it is a privilege to be able to teach and help others. Phil’s philosophy is that yoga is a person’s very personal, unique journey. It is a healing relationship - a relationship that develops between your body, mind, and breath. Yoga is for everyone, regardless of your limitations. There is no better way to quiet your mind and strengthen your body. With regular practice, yoga will benefit you in ways you never imagined! *Phil is a RYT200 certified instructor with Yoga Alliance
